Kaiparowits Plateau

 
The Kaiparowits Plateau is one of three sections of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. It was once the home of both the Fremont an Anasazi Indians and bighorn sheep which have recently been reintroduced to the land. The area is rich in fossils.
