Kaiparowits Plateau
The Kaiparowits Plateau is one of three sections of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. It was once the home of both the Fremont an Anasazi Indians and bighorn sheep which have recently been reintroduced to the land. The area is rich in fossils.

Burning Hills
The Burning Hills are located on the Kaiparowits Plateau in Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. They are the result of fires in underground coal seams some of which are still burning.
Four Mile Bench
One of the attractions of the Kaiparowits Plateau is Four Mile Bench, where a cluster of Utah Juniper Trees is believed to be over 1000 years old. The area features hiking opportunities.
