Daggett County

Daggett County is located on the slopes of the Uintah Mountains. It is part of the Dinosaurland travel region. The county is named for Ellworth Daggett who the first Utah Surveyor General.

Daggett County has the lowest population of the 29 counties in Utah, with less than a thousand residents. Daggett County shares borders with Colorado and Wyoming.

John Jarvie Ranch
The John Jarvie Ranch in Daggett County is a group of four historic buildings on the Green River. There is a stone house built by outlaw Jack Bennett, the two-room John Jarvie home, the blacksmith shop and general store. The ranch is a National Historic Site.
Manila, Utah
Manila (pop. 300) was named county seat of Daggett County when it was created in 1917. The town is located in northern Utah on the Idaho border.

Manila - Flaming Gorge Headquarters
The headquarters of the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area is located in Manila. It is open to visitors year round.
