Cedar City Attractions
Cedar City (pop. 22,000) is by far the biggest town in Iron County. Located 250mi/400km south of Salt Lake City the town is the site of Southern Utah University. There are several festivals each summer, including the Utah Shakespearean Festival and the Utah Summer Games.

Frontier Homestead State Park Museum is a museum in Cedar City dedicated to the mining and pioneering history of Iron County. The park is located on the site of an iron foundry built in 1851.
