Bryce Valley Attractions

Bryce Valley is located east of Bryce Canyon National Park and is surrounded by the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. There are three towns in the valley; Tropic, Cannonville and Henrieville. These are all ranching communities located along State Route 12.
Cannonville, Utah
Cannonville (pop. 150) is located in the middle of the three main towns in Bryce Valley along State Route 12 in southern Utah. It was first settled in the early 1880's.
Cannonville - Kodachrome Basin State Park
The Kodachrome Basin State Park is located near Cannonville. It has 2,240 acres of sandstone rock formations which appear to change in color depending on the weather and time of day. The park features 67 of these sand pipes.

Henrieville, Utah
Henrieville (pop. 160) is the easternmost of the three communities in Bryce Valley in southern Utah. The town was named for a Mormon counselor. Historic buildings include a one-room schoolhouse that is being restored.

Tropic, Utah
Tropic (pop.500) is the largest of the three towns in Bryce Valley and is located at the northwest end on State Route 12. The town was founded in 1892 by Ebenezer Bryce whose cabin is open for visitors.
