Brighton Attractions

Brighton is at the head of Big Cottonwood Canyon, at an elevation of 8,700 feet. There are two major ski areas: Brighton and Solitude.

Brighton Ski Resort

The Brighton Ski Resort is located east of Salt Lake City and has a base elevation of 8,755ft/2,669m and 64 runs on more than 850 acres of land.

Mount Millicent

From Brighton Resort, a vacation center popular throughout the year, there is a chair-lift up Mount Millicent, from which there are superb panoramic views.
Mount Millicent has an elevation of 10,452ft/3,186m.

Solitude Mountain Resort

Located at an elevation of 8,000ft/2,438m in Big Cottonwood Canyon, the Solitude Mountain Resort covers 1,200 acres and has 63 ski runs. There is on site accommodation options, as well as a Nordic Center offering 20 kilometers of groomed terrain for classic and skate skiing, and marked snowshoe trails.
