Umm al-Quwain Attractions

Umm al-Quwain is situated between Ajman and Ras al-Khaimah. It is the capital of the emirate of Umm al-Quwain offering a relaxed atmosphere, long beaches and an enclosed lagoon. The natural lagoon is ideal for water sports and small boat activities.

The city of Umm al-Quwain has the preserved remains of an old fort with defensive cannons at the main gate. The fort has two rounded towers and a higher wall located behind the towers that are mostly in ruin. Three old watchtowers also guard access to the town.

A major attraction in Umm al-Quwain is Dreamland, an aqua park that is among the largest in the world.
