Headquarters of the emirates oil companies and embassies are based in Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi offers year-round sunshine, many of the local residents leave the city for cooler climates in July and August so the best time to visit is Spring or Fall. Large gardens, parks and green boulevards are found among the mirrored buildings and cosmopolitan high-rises.
