Ondini / KwaZulu Cultural Museum Description
The site of Cetshwayo's one-time capital, Ondini, which was destroyed by British forces in 1879, is a few km/ mi southeast of present-day Ulundi (reached from the road to the Umfolozi Game Reserve). In recent years the site has been excavated and some huts reconstructed. The KwaZulu Cultural Museum has a very interesting exhibition on the history and culture of the Zulus.
