Trondheim - Church of Our Lady

(Local Name: Vår Frue Kirke) On Kongensgata, to the east of the Trondheim Market Square, is Vår Frue Kirke, the Church of Our Lady (13th and 16th-17th C.). In the adjoining gardens is a small bronze statue of the Norwegian naval hero Peter Tordenskjold, born in Trondheim in 1691; it is a replica of the original statue by H. W. Bissen in Copenhagen.
