Civic Museum Description
(Local Name: Muzej Grada Trogira) The Trogir Civic Museum (Muzej Grada Trogira) is housed in the Baroque Garagnin-Fanfogna Palace. The museum is located across from the Land Gate in the northwest corner of Trogir. On display at the Trogir Civic Museum are a variety of Greek and Roman artifacts, books, documents, drawings, costumes and antique clothing. The first floor offers a nice collection of 18th Century furniture. The museum is by no means worth a special visit but its location near the Land Gate and the Cathedral of St Lawrence makes it a convenient stop during a walking tour of this area of Trogir.
