Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago are two islands with noticeably different flavors joined into one nation. English is the official language, however, a number of Hindu dialects and Creole are spoken.

Trinidad is more industrialized than other Caribbean islands given it has some oil income (70% of exports & 40% of income) with agriculture, light manufacturing and tourism also making contributions. The major tourist activities include nature-watching and visiting various heritage and scenic sites.

In contrast Tobago's focus is primarily tourism with a focus on resorts and nature.
