Ellarslie Mansion - Trenton City Museum Description
Ellarslie, an Italianate villa, was built for Henry McCall Sr. of Philadelphia as a summer residence in 1848. The architect, John Notman, was known for designing the first Italianate building in America. The Trenton Museum features a permanent collection are and artifacts highlighting the historical past of Trenton. The second floor is home to tableware, sanitary ware and artware produced by Trenton's ceramic industry.
