Description
On the northern edge of the Acropolis are the excavated remains of the Greek defensive walls (restored in 407 B.C.), an excellent example of the highly developed Greek art of fortification. Beyond this point, on the Manuiza plateau to the north of the Acropolis, extends the town proper, of which only a few remains have been preserved.
