The Rex Allen Arizona Cowboy Museum in Willcox is named for the star of the movie "Arizona Cowboy" and the television series "Frontier Doctor". The museum is filled with memorabilia from both.

The Willcox Commercial Store was established in 1881, and is now Arizona's oldest commercial building, still in use at its original location. Visitors can shop for items from the present day while catching a glimpse of the past. Geronimo used to shop here during the early days, he apparently had quite the sweet tooth!

Dos Cabezas is a partial ghost town 14 miles southeast of Willcox. While only a few residents remain today, the town was once a thriving center for surrounding mines and cattle ranches.
Dos Cabezas is the Spanish name for "Two Heads", it was named after the double peak.
The Frontier Relics Museum is located in Dos Cabezas and features artifacts from Fort Bowie and other areas of the Old West. The owner has uncovered many of the items by searching old forts and ghosts towns.
The Fort Bowie National Historic Site is situated at the northern edge of the Chiricahua Mountains. It includes ruins of a fort built by settlers in 1862 to defend against the Apache under Cochise, and later, Geronimo. It was abandoned after Geronimo's surrender in 1894.

The ghost town of Hilltop once included both sides of the mountain, with a tunnel between them in 1917. In 1913, the town of Hilltop bought an automobile.
The ghost town of Johnson is located near Dragoon. Concrete foundations are most of what remains of Johnson, once the headquarters of the Peabody Company in 1883.
