West Thailand Attractions

West Thailand

In the west the central south-east Asian mountain range of Tanen Tong Dan, rising to well over 2000 m (6562 ft) in places, forms a natural frontier with the neighboring state of Myanmar, formerly Burma. Particularly impressive is the Sam Roi Yot chain, the "mountain range of 300 peaks", which lies on the Gulf of Thailand south of Hua Hin.
