Umm al-Quwain Attractions

 
Umm al-Quwain is a quiet emirate that offers a relaxed atmosphere with a small ruined fort, a wind tower and a few watchtowers. The main attractions of Umm al-Quwain are the long beaches, an enclosed lagoon and public horse riding stables.

Seneyah Island, one kilometer away from Umm Al Quwain, is a sanctuary for a large species of birds, deer and Al Qaram trees.

Near the town of Umm Al Quwain is a famous archeological site featuring the remains of a once important town in the region dating back about 2000 years ago. During excavations, some of the items uncovered include tombs, stone houses, large storage jars, and glassware from Egypt and Syria.
