The village of Claverley is most noted for its parish church. All Saints' church is built of red sandstone and was renovated between 1050 and 1902. There are 12th century wall paintings, a 15th century porch and upper tower, and a 17th century hammer beam roof.
The Aerospace Museum in Cosford offers one of the largest aviation collections in Britain. Exhibits include: Victor and Vulcan bombers, the Hastings, York and British Airways aircraft, the Belfast freighter, the last airworthy Britannia, missiles and a British Airways Hall.

Telford's country club has an 18-hole championship golf course, a 9-hole, par three course, and a floodlit all-weather driving range. For those not interested in golf, the club also has an indoor swimming pool, a fully-loaded spa and gymnasium and squash courts. Two restaurants, including one with Japanese cuisine, are located on the Club grounds.

Hampton Loade has the last remaining foot ferry in the region. The ferry is connected to an overhead wire. The "captain" sets the rudder and the current powers the boat.
The world's first iron bridge was cast by local ironmaster Abraham Darby and was erected over the River Severn in 1779. Largely of 'made to fit' components, Iron Bridge is now Britain's best known industrial monument.
Lilleshall Abbey is an Augustinian abbey ruins east of Telford. The abbey dissolved in 1538, remains of the twelfth- and thirteenth-century church and cloister buildings are available.
At Weston Park in Shifnal visitors can tour a 17th century house which was the ancestral seat of the Earls of Bradford. Other attractions include: gardens, a museum, an adventure playground and a miniature railroad.
Sports are a popular activity in Shifnal such as cricket, tennis and football.
