Southern Kenya Attractions
Southern Kenya is the region between Nairobi and Mombasa and home to several national parks including Tsavo National Park and Amboseli National Park. Southern Kenya is also the traditional homeland of the Akamba people, also known as the Ukambani. Amboseli National Park became Kenya's first game refuge in 1948.
The Maasai people, who worship cattle, are found mainly in Southern Kenya. The Massai have not strayed from the traditional ways of life.
