Sevenoaks Attractions

 
A possible base from which to explore the North Downs is Sevenoaks (pop. 20,000), attractively situated in the Greensand Hills. Adjoining Sevenoaks School is the entrance to Knole Park.

Many of the residents of Sevenoaks are London commuters. The town does offer many shops and a shopping centre as well as a theatre. Sevenoaks is also home to one of the oldest cricket grounds in England, the first match took place in 1734.
