Sancti Spiritus Province Attractions

Sancti Spiritus is a province worth exploring. The main cities in the province are Sancti Spiritus and Trinidad. As one of the oldest inland towns in Cuba, Sancti Spiritus comes complete with colonial architecture and cobblestone streets. However, it remains relatively undeveloped and does not promote itself as a tourist destination.

Trinidad is an architectural treasure with restored colonial buildings in a beautiful natural setting, backed by the Topes de Collantes mountains. Trinidad, combined with the nearby Valle de los Ingenios, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The resort area of Playa Ancon, just a short distance from Trinidad, will be sure to satisfy anyone interested in a little time on the beach.
