Port Townsend is a quaint Victorian seaport filled with art galleries, historic homes and buildings, and one-of-a-kind shops. The many restaurants run the gamut from vegan to steak, Thai to Mexican.
Fort Flagler State Park
Fort Flagler State Park is located on the northern tip of Marrowstone Island. Situated high up on a bluff and surrounded by the ocean on three sides, Fort Flagler State Park has some spectacular views over the ocean and beyond to the Cascade and Olympic Mountains. Fort Flagler itself dates to the 19th Century and there are still many buildings here to explore.
Fort Worden State Park
Fort Worden State Park is a multi-use park with an onsite conference center, picnic sites and campsites. The park is the site of the 19th Century Fort Worden, located on a high bluff. Many of the forts original buildings are still standing. Fort Worden State Park overlook Puget Sounds and offers some beautiful ocean front shoreline.
Coast Artillery Museum
The Coast Artillery Museum is located in Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend. The museum examines the history of the Port Townsend harbour and Puget Sound as it relates to defense, with displays of artillery, uniforms, regimental flags, photographs, and more.
Jefferson County Historical Museum
The Jefferson County Historical Museum is located in the old city hall building, built in 1892. The museum explores the history of Jefferson County with displays of artifacts, photographs, and oral histories.
Marine Science Center
The Port Townsend Marine Science Center in Port Townsend features a Natural History Exhibit and a Marine Science Exhibit. The center also has educational programs and welcomes school groups.
Kelly Art Deco Light Museum
The Kelly Art Deco Light Museum in Port Townsend features Art Deco lighting from 1928 through 1938. There are some beautiful and rare fixtures in the collection.

Sequim
Sequim is located at the north end of the Olympic Peninsula in the Dungeness Valley. Local attractions in the area include the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge and the Sequim Museum and Arts Center.
Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge
Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge is known for having one of the longest natural sand spits in the world and is popular for wildlife viewing. The area is home to a wide variety of bird species. Visitors may also see harbor seals here.The Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge sometimes has limited access during certain feeding and nesting times.
Museum and Arts Center
The Museum and Arts Center in Sequim features permanent and and changing exhibits on natural history and culture. Changing exhibits include works by local artists, as well as historical, and military displays.
Quilcene, Washington
Quilcene is a small town located on the Olympic Peninsula. Of interest here is the Quilcene Historical Museum.
