Hemingway Birthplace House is a Victorian, Queen Anne style home that features the room in which Hemingway was born. The home was built around 1890 for Ernest Hall, Hemingway's maternal grandfather. Family photos are on display.

Oak Park Conservatory consists of three thematic greenhouses - The Desert House, the Tropic House, and the Fern House - with herbs, perennials and rare native flowers in the outdoor garden. The Oak Park Conservatory began in 1914 with plants from around the world that were donated by residents. Today it is the third largest conservatory in the Chicago area!
