The town of Helen (pop. 400) is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is a re-creation of an alpine village complete with cobblestone alleys and old-world towers.
The Alpine Antique Auto and Buggy Museum features vintage autos and horse drawn buggy's from the early 1900's through the late 1970's. Some of the unique items on display include an 1840 era hearse, Civil War ambulance, 1848 Victorian carriage, late 1800 mail wagon and an 1800 water wagon.
The Black Forest Bear Park and Reptile Exhibit features 14 adult bears with enclosures that feature swimming pools and trees to climb.
There are venemous and non-venemous reptiles also on display
