Dubai is the second largest emirate, in terms of size, in the United Arab Emirates. The Emirate of Dubai extends along the Arabian Gulf coast. The population of Dubai is mainly expatriates with the majority from South Asia and the South East Asia. Dubai is the only emirate that has Hindu temples and a Sikh gurudwara.

The weather in Dubai is generally good all year except July and August when it can be uncomfortably hot.

Dubai has become a popular tourist destination attracting many tourists from around the world to the annual Dubai Shopping Festival and Air Show.
