Centralia, WA Attractions
Centralia, south of Olympia, was founded in the late 19th Century by the son of a black slave. His name was George Washington. Visit the town's downtown historic district to the marvelous restoration work that has gone into Centralia.
Tenino, Washington

The little town of Tenino is located directly south of Olympia. There is little to see in the town but it once issued wooden money during the depression and there are some displays on this in Tenino.
Tenino Depot Museum
Learn all about the wooden money that made Tenino famous, at the Depot Museum. Visitors can see the press used to make the money, as well as many other artifacts from the town's history. The Depot Museum is housed in the 1914 Northern Pacific Depot.
