Milton Keynes, England
The town of Milton Keynes is located in the northeast corner of Buckinghamshire. Many small towns are now within its jurisdiction giving it a preeminent position in the area.Milton Keynes has a notable cultural scene that includes the National Bowl, suited to large scale concerts; the Milton Keynes Gallery; a theatre that seats 1,400 and is noted for its high bookings; and two museums.
Buckingham, England
Buckingham (pop. 6,627) is a quiet, old town in the northwest corner of Buckinghamshire. It is approximately 20 km/12mi north of Aylesbury. As a small market town, it still holds markets every Tuesday and Saturday.Buckingham has a medieval well which borders the town to the south and a number of 18th century buildings.
Buckingham Chantry Chapel
Buckingham Chantry Chapel is the oldest building in Buckingham. It is a 15th century chapel with a fine Norman doorway. The chapel was restored in 1875 by Gilbert Scott.
Stowe Landscape Gardens
Stowe Landscape Gardens were developed between 1713 and 1775 and are regarded as an excellent example of Georgian Era landscaping.They contain 32 garden temples and monuments on 580 acres.
Bekonscot Model Village and Railway, Beaconsfield, England
Bekonscot Model Village and Railway is the world's oldest model village. The entire village reflects life in the 1930's. The landscape includes farms and fields, castles and churches, woods, lakes and rolling hills.
