Bremerton Attractions

Bremerton is a small city located directly west of Seattle, across Puget sound. The town has worked to develop its waterfront, has a historic arts district, and some nice walking areas, including the Boardwalk.
Bremerton Naval Museum (Naval Memorial Museum of the Pacific)
The Naval Memorial Museum of the Pacific, more commonly called the Bremerton Naval Museum, focuses on a wide range or naval historical events. Some of the events include the Spanish-American War, Pearl Harbor, as well as the craft of ship building.

Keyport - Naval Undersea Museum, Washington
(Near Bremerton)
The Naval Undersea Museum in Keyport features a wide range of exhibits from scuba diving to submarines. The museum also has a good display on US torpedoes and looks at the ocean environment. In addition the permanent collection of the Naval Undersea Museum, temporary exhibits are also presented. Call ahead for information on the latest exhibitions.

Poulsbo, on the Kitsap Peninsula, proudly calls itself "Little Norway on the Fjord", a reference to the town's Norwegian heritage. The town has many shops and bakeries that can attest to the Norwegian roots.

From Poulsbo it's possible to arrange kayaking trips through the Olympic Outdoor Center. Also, within a short drive of the town visitors will find gofling, hiking, and many other recreational opportunities.
