Block Island Attractions

This island 10 mi. offshore has been virtually abandoned to nature. There are ferries from Newport or from Galilee/Point Judith on the south coast. You can cycle, climb down the Mohegan Bluffs to the Atlantic or stop at the Old Harbor.

Miles of trails allow for biking and hiking. Bird watching is popular, with more than 150 species stopping here in the fall.
