Berryville is known as the "Turkey Capital of Arkansas" with over 500,000 turkeys raised here annually. North of Berryville offers scenic driving route of the Ozarks.
The Carroll County Heritage Museum is housed in the 1889 Carroll County Courthouse. On display are a variety of pioneer era items, including a schoolroom, funeral parlor, still, and other unique antique items.

Cosmic Cavern is a cave featuring two large underground lakes and is home to the Ozark Blind Cave Salamanders. Guided tours last 75 minutes.
"Silent Splendor" is a room in Cosmic Cavern that houses one of the longest soda straw formations in the Ozarks. Visitors can also try their hand at gemstone panning including a variety of gems such as Amethyst, Fluorite, Apache Tear, Peacock Ore, Calcite, Lodestone, Copper, Talc, Pumice, and Citrine.

The Saunders Memorial Museum features a collection of guns which belonged to Col. C.B. Saunders. Some of the displays include sidearms of Jesse James, Wild Bill Hickok, Pancho Villa, and Annie Oakley. Also on display are collections of antique furniture and housewares.
This 1875 Italianate villa, Peel Mansion, was built by Colonel Sam West Peel. The building has been restored and the interior decorated in 1870s style with period furnishings. Also on the grounds are gardens, which have been planted with 19th C plantings typical of the area such as historic roses, perennials and plants that are native to the area.

Mystic Caverns is a show cave near Marble Falls. The original sinkhole entrance to Mystic Caverns was a dirt slope that dropped 10 feet into the cave. Today there is a wooden ladder into the sinkhole entrance. Guided tours lead visitors through these two caverns discovered in the 1850s.

The Arkansas and Missouri Railroad offers round trip train rides through the Ozark Mountains in restored passenger trains from the early 1900s. The conductors are knowledgeable about the history of the area and share stories with the passengers. A stop is made in Van Buren where travelers can have lunch and spend some time sightseeing.
