High Park

High Park in Toronto features 400ac of sunken gardens, hanging basket gardens, nature trails, natural ponds and streams. Animal paddocks, swimming and wading pools, playgrounds, picnic area, and scenic train tour are also available.

Colborne Lodge

Colborne Lodge was built in 1837 and was the home of the original owners of High Park, John G. Howard and his wife, Jemima. Howard was one of the city planners of Toronto. The house, a rare Regency picturesque building, still contains a variety of items which belonged to Howard. They chose the name High Park because of its height, and the commanding view over Humber Bay in Lake Ontario. The grounds also include 19th-century recreated gardens, a Coach House and the Howards' Tomb.
The 165-acre country property was deeded to the City of Toronto in 1873 by the Howards. This deed included the fact that the park was to remain 'for the free use, benefit and enjoyment of the citizens of Toronto and it be called High Park'.

Dream in High Park Outdoor Performance

Annually the Canadian Stage Company puts on a performance at the open-air theatre in Toronto's High Park during the months of July and August.

Exhibition Place

Exhibition Place features 192 acres of parkland and is the center of festivals and events in Toronto. The site holds a number of permanent tenants, and is home to many annual fairs and shows. The largest of these is the annual EX, a traditional fair and exhibition which takes place at the end of summer.

Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament

Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament in Toronto offers a medieval style meal while jousting tournaments and equestrian demonstrations entertain. The facility, known as "the Castle" can hold up to 14,000 people and is the largest facility operated by the Medieval Times chain.

Canadian National Exhibition

The Canadian National Exhibition, also commonly called the CNE or the EX, is an end of the summer fair and exhibition. Visitors will find all kinds of midway rides, games, shows, parades, a rodeo, and agricultural area.

Closed for lack of a venue. Items from the museum have been distributed to branch locations throughout the country.

Etobicoke

Since the amalgamation of the Toronto area Etobicoke has become a part of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Neilson Park Creative Centre

Neilson Park Creative Centre in Etobicoke is a creative arts facility and home to five resident art groups. The centre offers classes in visual art and contains a gallery with a focus on modern and local art.

Royal Woodbine Golf Club

Royal Woodbine Golf Club in Etobicoke is a challenging course open to the public. On each of the 18 holes there is water. Royal Woodbine also offers courses on golf taught by CPGA professionals.

Woodbine Centre Fantasy Fair

The Fantasy Fair inside the Woodbine Centre claims to be the largest indoor amusement park in Ontario. The Fantasy Fair features 58,000 square feet of rides, games and amuseuments, including pools.

Civic Centre Art Gallery

The Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery features local artists for the majority of the year. Works from surrounding areas and a variety of media are exhibited.

Christie Pits Park

The picnic area at Christie Pits Park is surrounded by 3 baseball diamonds, a sand volleyball court, soccer field, and even an outdoor swimming pool.
On the grounds of the park is the Bob Abate Community Centre offering an indoor pool swimming pool, weight room, meeting room and more. Next door is the Bickford Learning Centre which also has a gymnasium and swimming pool.

Algonquians Sweet Grass Gallery

The Algonquians North American Indian Sweet Grass Gallery is owned and run by Ojibway. A variety of items are on display and for sale including moccasins, sculptures of stone and pewter, mask, pottery and more.

James Gardens

Along the Humber River lies the 10ac James Gardens, a botanical garden featuring a variety flowers and trees as well as ponds fed by springs. There are also nature trails throughout the gardens.

Montgomery's Inn

Montgomery's Inn in Toronto was originally built in the early 1830s and has been restored to portray the 1847-50 period. The inn was owned by Thomas Montgomery and is now a history museum.

RINX

The RINX offers visitors an indoor ice skating and inline skating area. The RINX also features a variety of amusements including laser tag, bumper cars, video games, and billiards. The venue is available for birthday parties and other events.

Trinity Bellwoods

Trinity Bellwoods features three baseball diamonds, eight tennis courts, a swimming pool, and an ice rink. The Trinity Community Centre is on the grounds of the park and features a weight room and swimming pool.

Dr Flea's International Flea Market

Dr Flea's International Flea Market is Toronto's largest indoor market. The market features over 400 vendors.

Early Canadian Furniture Shop

The Early Canadian Furniture Shop in Toronto specializes in custom handcrafted furniture. There are a variety of locations throughout Toronto.

Grenadier Pond

Grenadier Pond is the largest pond in Toronto. Catch and release fishing is allowed on the pond.

Humber River Bike and Pedestrian Bridge

Humber River Bike and Pedestrian Bridge in Toronto was designed to showcase the spirituality of Native Canadians. The bridge itself is an award-winning design.

York Museum

The York Museum focuses on the history of the City and Township of York. Exhibits rotate frequently and are mostly artifacts from the city itself.
