Toggenburg - (Untertoggenburg)
South of Wil the road passes through the pleasant area of Untertoggenburg. On the slopes of the hills are elegant farmhouses of Alemannic type and, in the villages, are 18th C. "manufacturers' houses" (Fabrikantenhäuser) dating from the period when the region's flourishing textile industry was established.
