Arbel valley

An attractive short trip from Tiberias is to the area north of the Horns of Hittim, reached by taking the Nazareth road and after a wide bend to the left (still within the town) turning right into a road which soon comes into the Arbel valley. To the right of the road is the kibbutz of Arbel. From the hill above the kibbutz there is an impressive view of the Wadi el-Hammam, enclosed by sheer rock walls.
