Glen Rose Attractions
The small town of Glen Rose (pop. 2,200) was originally established as a trading post in 1849. Many historic buildings still stand, some of which have been converted to bed and breakfasts.
Barnard Mill and Art Museum
The Barnard Mill was built in 1860 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Texas Historic Register. It now houses the Art Museum which displays paintings, sculptures, and other art works.

Creation Evidences Museum
The museum features fossils and artifacts, including Acrocanthosaurus bones and dinosaur footprint casts.

Fossil Rim Wildlife Center
The center displays a variety of exotic and endangered animals. Visitors can get up close to some of the animals in the petting pasture. There is also a lodge and a safari camp, as well as nature trails and a learning center.
