Brackettville Attractions
Brackettville developed in the mid 1800's as a supply village for nearby Fort Clark. The Fort closed in the mid 1900's and the area is now a popular tourist area.
Alamo Village
Alamo Village was the movie set of the 1959 film "The Alamo". At the location you will find a trading post, Indian store, stage depot, jail, bank, saddle shop, and other buildings all recreated for the set. The set is still used for movies and other productions.

Bracketville - Fort Clark Springs
Fort Clark was established in 1852 and deactivated in 1944. Col. Ranald S. Mackenzie, General George C. Patton and General George C Marshall served at this location.
