Tepeaca - Franciscan Convent

The solid, defensive construction of the 16th c. Franciscan convent is one of the country's earliest and most impressive. Of note are the walkway around the battlements which surround the church, the colonial-Plateresque façade, and the architectural quality of the entrance hall of the convent.
