Sevierville, Tennessee

Sevierville (pop. 12,000) was founded in Cherokee territory in 1785. The town was named for John Sevier, who became Tennessee's first governor. It is the singer Dolly Parton's birthplace.

Floyd Garrett's Muscle Car Museum

Floyd Garrett's Muscle Car Museum is home to over 90 muscle cars from the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Floyd began his collection of vehicles in 1975 with the purchase of a black 1970 Chevelle. Some of the cars currently on display include a 1969 Camaro, 1967 Firebird, 1970 Chevelle, 1970 Nova and 1971 Cuda Convertible.

Forbidden Caverns

The Forbidden Caverns were a natural shelter for early inhabitants. From the early twenties until 1943, illegal moonshine was made here.
The caverns contain a large wall of rare onyx, natural chimneys, ancient waterfalls and a stream.
