Waitomo Walkway

This enjoyable trail, which starts from the parking lot in front of the Glow-worm Cave, runs through the forest, passing limestone formations in the steep gorge of the Waitomo River, to the Ruakiri Natural Bridge, an arch left by the collapse of a cave. The complete circuit takes about 4 hours.
