Pispalan - International Folk Festival

(Local Name: Pispala Schottische) The festival is a combination of traditional and contemporary folk dance and music that is held every year in late July and early August.

The event brings together performers from all over the world for evening jam sessions and dances. A conference is also held on the side-lines.

The main event is the grand fair at the Tampere Hall.
