Wisma Negara Description
The Wisma Negara is a palace in modern style built by President Sukarno (see Famous People) in the 1950s as a summer residence. The palace is in two parts, separated from one another by a narrow valley but linked by a footbridge. It is now used as a government guest-house.

Visitors are admitted to the palace at certain times. An identification document must be produced, and there is a small admission charge.

From the spacious grounds of the palace there is a good view of the source sanctuary in the valley below.
