Description
Ybor City State Museum is housed in the 1923 Ferlita Bakery building; this museum shows how the area changed from a deserted swamp to the center of Tampa's cigar manufacturing industry. The Ybor City State Museum explores the heritage of this unique Latin and multicultural neighborhood, the cigar trade and the history of the site. A restored cigar worker's cottage, known as "la casita", with late 18th century furnishings, is located next door.
