Description
Some of the finds from the excavations at Megara Iblea can be seen in the small antiquarium by the sea, while most are displayed in the Archeological Museum at Syracuse; these include an archaic kouros by a Greek artist (first half of the sixth century B.C.) and a limestone figure by a local artist of a goddess of fertility seated suckling two infants (Kurotrophos, about 550 B.C.).
