Alvsbyn Attractions
Inland of Boden is the little town of Älvsbyn (pop. 9,000). Beside the church (1808-13) are 40 wooden "church houses".

Storforsen
40km/25mi west of Älvsbyn is Europe's largest unregulated waterfall, Storforsen, 82m/270ft high. Here, too, can be found an interesting Forestry Museum illustrating the work of the raftsmen and forestry workers.
