Wat Pa Mamuang Description
In the Sukhothai period the Wat Pa Mamuang was a religious center. Inscriptions in Pali, Khmer and Thai (today in the National Museum in Bangkok) provide information about its history. The base of the mondhop, the pedestals of several smaller chedis and the ruins of the bot can still be seen. Also from the Wat Tuk remains of the mondhop, wiharn and some chedis have been preserved.
