Science North Description
Accommodated in a striking modern building designed to resemble a snowflake this extraordinary Science Center vividly conveys a wealth of information about the geology and landscape of North Ontario and the Canadian Arctic. There are also various fascinating presentations (e.g. films and demonstrations) on the history of the universe and the development of communications. Visitors are invited to conduct scientific experiments for themselves, with the assistance of the staff.
