Description
In the early 18th century, Herr's Mill was a place to stop between trips, purchase supplies and exchange news for locals and visitors alike. The Mill and the Village functioned throughout the 1800's and into the turn of the century. The 1738 Herr's Grist Mill and the 1844 Covered Bridge are found within the village. Buildings have been restored and include a blacksmith, broommaker, quilter, buggy rides, an operating gristmill, Victorian Music Room, and Nickelodeon Theater.
