Description
On an island to the northeast of Stockholm can be found the residential suburb of Lidingö, in which is Millesgården, the former home and studio of the Swedish sculptor Carl Milles (1875-1955), now a museum, which in addition to major works by Milles himself displays his collection of Greek and Roman art. In the grounds of the house, from which is a fine view of Stockholm, are replicas of various sculptures by MIlles.
