This annual three-month festival runs from late-May to early September and includes over 30 performances including operas, orchestral concerts, ballets, dance recitals and theatrical performances. The operas are the featured events of the festival and the repertoires focus on late 18th-century works. The Royal Stockholm Opera Company performs regularly during this festival. The performances all take place in the Drottningholm Court Theater.
