Description
The Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach brings to life the Mennonite way of life from the 16th C to present. More than 20 furnished buildings create the village with a museum that houses antiques and manuscripts. Spread over 40 acres / 17 hectares, the Mennonite Heritage Village takes visitors back in time to when villages like this were all across Southern Manitoba.

There is a library on the site that sells a variety of items for visitors wishing to take home a piece of this remarkable attraction. Of particular note are the locally made hand crafted items. The Mennonite Heritage Village is easily located in Steinbach, just look for the large windmill by the side of the main highway leading into town.
