Description
The contemporary St Peter Greathouse and Botanical Gardens was once the retreat of a French consul, an island governor and the Johnson & Johnson corporation. The property covers 11ac/4.4ha of land and was restored following Hurricane Hugo in 1989.

The gardens feature over 200 kinds of West Indian plants and trees and the great house includes hurricane photos and an art collection. Good vistas of Magens Bay and the north shore of St Thomas can be viewed from a large deck.
