Hahnensee (Furocla Surlej, Piz Corvatsch)

From St Moritz Bad it is an hour and a half's walk on beautiful forest paths by way of the Quellenberg (1,920 m/6,300ft) or the Johannisberg (2,002 m/6,569ft) to the Hahnensee (2,159 m/7,084ft; restaurant) and a further two hours along the slopes of Piz Surlej (3,192 m/10,473ft) to the Furocla Surlej (2,755 m/9,039ft), from which there is a breathtaking view of the Bernina group and the Engadine lakes.
